The South West Academy of Fine and Applied Arts
Reflections 2020

Guest Judges: Rosa Sepple RI, Anthony Frost, Joseph Hillier

The Academy is postponing its annual Open Exhibition to focus specifically upon artists’ responses to this extraordinary year. As an on-line exhibition, Reflections 2020 will provide a forum for artists’ work to remain in the public eye whilst respecting the need to be vigilant and maintain appropriate social distancing. Reflections 2020 invites artists to enter 2D and 3D work that reflects their own experience, interpretation and observations of the impact of the pandemic: social distancing, isolation, lockdown, solace, the natural world, celebrating the NHS & Key Workers, volunteering, recovery, ‘new normal’, renewal, re-thinking.
